Harpreet S. Brar, MD
Dr. Brar is a graduate of Spartan Health Science University School of Medicine. His medical residency and GI fellowship were completed at the University of Washington. Dr. Brar is Board Certified in Gastroenterology. Dr. Brar and his wife Minu have three children.
   
Mark D. Cumings, MD
Dr. Cumings is a graduate of the Joan C. Edwards School of Medicine at Marshall University. His medical residency was completed at Tripler Army Medical Center followed by GI fellowship at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center. Dr. Cumings is board certified in Gastroenterology. He and his wife Doris have seven children.
   
Rodney W. Joe, MD
Dr. Joe is a graduate of the University of Utah School of Medicine. His medical residency and GI fellowship were completed at the University of Washington. He is Board Certified in Gastroenterology. Dr. Joe was previously on the Board of Directors for Project Access, a nonprofit healthcare resource for low income Thurston County residents. He and his wife Barb have two children.
   
Benjamin F. Merrifield, MD
Dr. Merrifield is a graduate of Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine. His medical residency was completed at Brigham and Women’s Hospital followed by GI fellowship at both Brigham Women’s Hospital / Harvard Medical School. Dr. Merrifield is Board Certified in Gastroenterology. He and his wife Sara have two children.
   
David J. Owens, MD
Dr. Owens is a graduate of the University of Washington Medical School. He completed a medical residency at the University of Washington followed by GI fellowship at the University of California – San Diego, where he received advanced training in Endoscopic Ultrasound and ERCP. Dr. Owens is Board Certified in Gastroenterology. He and his wife Alyson have two children.
   
Bruce A. Silverman, MD
Dr. Silverman is a graduate of Columbia University with an M.S. in human nutrition and of Rush Medical College. His medical residency was completed at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center followed by GI fellowship at the University of Washington. Dr. Silverman is Board Certified in Gastroenterology. He and his wife Courtney have two children.
   
Kathryne A. Wagner, MD
Dr. Wagner is a graduate of the University of Washington Medical School. She completed both medical residency and GI fellowship at the University of New York. Dr. Wagner is Board Certified in Gastroenterology. She and her husband Mark have two children.
   

Nicholas K. Weber, MD
Dr. Weber is a graduate of the University of Kentucky. His medical residency and chief residency year were completed at the University of Colorado followed by GI fellowship at Mayo Clinic in Rochester,Minnesota. Dr.Weber is Board Certified in Gastroenterology. He and his wife Jennifer have two children. 

   
Meimin Xie, MD
Dr. Xie (pronounced "see-ya"), is a graduate of Beijing Medical University with an M.S. in molecular biology from Iowa State University. Her medical residency was completed at Saint Barnabas Medical Center followed by GI fellowship at Brigham and Women's Hospital. Dr. Xie is Board Certified in Gastroenterology. She and her husband Robert have one child.
   
Kristine Y. Zhang, MD
Dr. Zhang is a graduate of the University of Minnesota School of Medicine. Her medical residency and GI fellowship were completed at the University of Washington. Dr. Zhang is Board Certified in Gastroenterology. She and her husband Aric have two children.
   

Michelle Chiu, ARNP
ARNP Chiu is a graduate of Johns Hopkins University with a B.A. in Public Health and of the Ohio State University with a Master's Degree in Nursing. She is nationally certified as an Adult Nurse Practitioner. Michelle and her husband David have one child.

   
Stephanie F. Mitchell, ARNP
ARNP Mitchell is a graduate of the University of Portland with a BA in History and Regis College with a BS in Nursing and a MS in Nursing.  She is a nationally certified Family Nurse Practitioner. She grew up in the Olympia area and is happy to be back helping to serve her hometown community.
   
Samantha R. Moore, PA-C
P.A. Moore is a graduate of Furman University with a BA in Spanish and of Wake Forest University School of Medicine with a MMS in Physician Assistant Studies. She recently moved to the area and is looking forward to the hiking and the ability to be an even more avid Seattle Sounders fan.
   
Victoria M. Moore, PA-C
P.A. Moore is a graduate of San Francisco State University with a B.S. in Clinical Science and of the University of Washington MEDEX Northwest Physician Assistant Program. She and her husband Kelly have one child.
   

Sarah B. Poppe, ARNP
ARNP Poppe is a graduate of the University of Kansas with a BS in Exercise Science and a Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing, as well as the University of Cincinnati with a Master’s Degree in Nursing. She is a board certified Adult Nurse Practitioner. Sarah and her husband Carl have three children.

   
Adrienne E. Wasserman, ARNP

ARNP Wasserman is an Adult Nurse Practitioner who obtained her BS in Biology from Dickinson College in Carlisle, PA, BSN from Thomas Jefferson University in Philadelphia, PA, and her MSN from the University of Pennsylvania.  She began practicing in the oncology department at University of Pennsylvania and also worked in hematology/oncology and then gastroenterology, both in California.  Adrienne recently moved with her husband and two young sons to their family farm in Olympia where they enjoy hiking, gardening and trips to the coast.

   

Janelisa K. Williams, PA-C
P.A. Williams is a graduate of the University of Washington with a B.S. in Microbiology and of the University of Washington MEDEX Northwest Physician Assistant Program.

   
Patrick C. Williams, PA-C

P.A. Williams graduated from the Interservice Physician Assistant Program (IPAP) in 2000 with a B.S. in Physician Assistant Studies from the University of Nebraska Medical Center. He has worked as a nationally-certified physician assistant in the U.S. Army, emergency medicine, family medicine, aviation medicine and gastroenterology.  He was named U.S. Army Physician Assistant of the Year and the AAPA Veteran’s Caucus Uniformed Services Physician Assistant of the Year.  He is a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants and a NP/PA Member of the American College of Gastroenterology. He and his wife Jessica have two children. He enjoys hiking, bicycling, fishing, and woodworking.
